Corylus Architects Ltd is a Sole Practitioner Practice.  It was set up in 2010 by me it’s director Hazel Buckingham.  Over the years sometimes it has felt like things move very slowly but looking back so much has changed.  It is also my belief that what we do now matters.

Primarily I work on house extensions and refurbishments and in an effort to keep up and build a better future, I’m training as a PAS35 certified Retrofit Coordinator.  This is so that alongside creating and remodelling buildings I can assess and advise how improvements can be made that reduce running costs and facilitate future improvements.

I studied at Cardiff University and I am a Chartered Architect.  I have worked in a number of small Architectural Practices and a larger city based practice where I managed the design and construction of Liverpool’s Phase Three Sure Start Centres.
